Everything that we needed was there . We thoroughly enjoyed both our pizza and breakfast packages , and Catriona was an attentive and excellent hostess , ensuring that we had everything that we wante d to make the most of our stay. Catriona and Alex were such brilliant hosts and couldn\u2019t do enough for us. Despite the rain we still had a fantastic time. The hut is everything and more and has everything you need to enjoy your stay, down to the most delicious breakfast hamper. Our daughter loved playing with Evie the dog in the secured garden. We stayed here as it isn\u2019t far from the confetti fields, where we were visiting for the weekend. The hut is beautifully furnished and everything was so comfortable. We highly recommend buying one of Catriona\u2019s pizza kits, as a homemade pizza cooked in the pizza oven is not to be missed. The hut is set in a lovely garden area, with a field next door that you can access for a scenic walk. The hut is beautiful and spacious inside. Catriona and Alex have thought of everything with the design, and what lovely owners they are. I spotted this hut at the end of last year, so we had to book it. Every review that I read on line were exactly how this shepherds hut is. A little bit of heaven and lots of peace and away from everything. We had a lovely big private garden and area to sit in has well. Not forgetting the adorable Evie who came every day to see us, for us to throw her, her ball. We are missing her already. Catriona went out of her way to make our stay so lovely. This shepherds hut is amazing, that we did not want to come home today. We will definitely be back here again soon. Great success! The hut is deceptively spacious and well equipped and the beds are so comfortable. Large enclosed garden area and in a lovely peaceful setting. We borrowed Evie the dog and she was an instant hit - so gentle and friendly. Catriona is lovely and very welcoming and took Sophie to collect the eggs which she loved. We arrived a little later than planned and Catriona had already lit the little wood burning stove for us so the hut was lovely and toasty when we arrived. This was a wonderful warm and cosy welcome on a cold night. We\u2019d ordered the breakfast hamper which was fantastic value for money with delicious produce from their farm - what a treat! The attention to detail in this hut is spot on, everything is so beautifully made and it is fully equipped with everything you need for a luxurious stay. The Cotswold Lavender products were another highlight! The hut is situated in beautiful surroundings with an enclosed private garden which is great if you take a dog. There is also a lovely little outside area with BBQ and pizza oven which would be amazing if you stayed in the summer. It\u2019s location is perfect for visiting both The Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds too. We stopped for 1 night on the way home and fell in love. The hut is wonderfully kitted out, with everything you could need. The bed is comfy. The kids (3 and 5) loved the bunk beds. Evie the dog was a delight. The garden is beautiful with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the views. We liked it so much we&#039;ve booked a longer stay in October, when we can make use of the woodburning stove. The owners are so very friendly. We didn\u2019t travel to far away from the shepherds hut just stayed local this time,we went to the lock farm shop a few miles up the road and we took the granddaughter on the train ride which was on the same site. The hut is lovely and cosy - it\u2019s really well heated and insulated so still very comfortable in winter. We lit the stove for atmosphere but didn\u2019t really need the heat! The hut is also very comfortable and brilliantly laid out, so easy to spend the evening in when it\u2019s dark and rainy outside. Catriona took great care of us, making sure we had everything and taking our six year old to collect the eggs - our daughter really loved the whole weekend (including playing with her namesake, Evie the dog, who\u2019s an absolute superstar). We were really impressed with the lovely setting .. so beautiful. They then gifted us a night we added another and have just returned from our 2 day stay! Just perfect in every way. The interior feels quite spacious and has absolutely everything you could wish for and more with no compromise. Bed super comfortable. We had all weathers so used the very effective log stove while rain and wind battered away outside. But the hut is very well insulated and has heaters too if needed. Imaginatively created outside spaces to sit, relax, read, and walks from the door into the lovely rolling Warwickshire\/Worcestershire countryside. We visited Hillers Farm shop at Catriona\u2019s  recommendation which we\u2019d now definitely endorse, and enjoyed exploring Coughton Court. The owners Catriona and Alec are very friendly and welcoming and don\u2019t intrude at all but are there on hand for questions and farm supplies. Recommend the apple juice and breakfasts ! Great time, no hesitation in highly recommending. The hut is immaculate, beautifully furnished and the craftsmanship is second to none. It has an enclosed lawn area which was perfect for my 6 and 2 year old to play outside without any worry. The owners were great and nothing was too much trouble. They even allowed the children to collect eggs in the morning and we also visited the bulls shed where we fed them. Evie the dog was a welcome playmate for the children also, who visited a couple of times during our stay. We lit the fire pit and night The hut it very comfortable with everything you need to stay for a longer period of time and not just a weekend. And the boys loved their little bunk beds!! Our son loved the opportunity to collect eggs and even got to help feed the cows.  We all fell in love with Evie, she is such a gentle and playful dog and we really enjoyed taking her for walks in the evenings when we got back.  The hut is very well equipped with a lovely outdoor dining area.  Inside is larger than any hut we\u2019ve stayed in before and has a very comfy bed.  Even though the evenings were a little chilly we didn\u2019t need to light the wood burner as the hut is well insulated and very cosy.  Catriona has to be the best host we have ever come across, she is extremely welcoming and attentive. The hut is very cosy and well insulated and has been well furnished with lovely attention to detail. It is set in a gated garden area, private to the hut so very secure for children and the outdoor cooking\/sitting area is within the garden, with the hut in sight, so you can sit out at night if children are in bed. The hospitality provided by Catriona and Alec was just fantastic, they were so warm and welcoming without ever intruding. Our son loved collecting the eggs, feeding the chickens and the cows and especially loved Evie the sheepdog who is a lovely, exceptionally gentle dog who is great with kids and you can take her for walks and have her to play in the garden area, if you want to. Nothing was too much. \r\nWe have 2 children (a 3 and 8yr old). The bunk beds are perfect for them &amp; the double bed with its linen sheets &amp; memory foam mattress provides a really comfy nights sleep.\r\nAs a family that aren\u2019t really campers we felt we had a full outdoor experience whilst having the comfort of a home from home environment with the hut, yet that feeling of adventure for us &amp; the kids.\r\nOur children loved playing outside in the garden and the neighbouring field, collecting fresh eggs in the morning with Catriona, spotting lots of birds, rabbits, cows and more! \r\nAnd if you like peace and quiet, then this is the place to stay! So tranquil, calming and perfect for recharging your batteries. \r\nI also think that this could provide a perfect retreat for anyone who might want to write, work in peace or just needs some time to reflect! \r\nWe loved it! Larger than most with lovely interior design touches, a permanent rather than folding double bed and very well appointed. A beautiful remote location with views over rolling countryside with lovely walks either within the farm boundary or wider afield on the Wynchavon Way. You could not ask for better hosts in Alec and Catriona, who go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. For those of us who have missed out on growing up on a farm, Catriona is very happy to let you help collect the free range eggs from the hen house and Alec to let you help feed the cows. We had a delightful long weekend at the hut and would highly recommend for couples or young families. The hut is in a secluded garden in a quiet part of the farm. There are great views into the hills in all directions, and the garden is right next to a lovely orchard. There is no noise (except for the occasional cow) and at night there are tons of stars. The patio made for a comfortable place to sit and read in the sunshine. The hut itself is cozy but spacious. It will have everything you need for cooking and to be comfortable. The log burner kept us warm through the night, and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and set us up with a delicious breakfast and apple juice from the farm. The hosts really have thought of everything and managed to incorporated it all into this small space, whether kids toys or an electric blanket, nothing was missing! The craftsmanship is really impressive and it has been decorated with an astounding eye for detail. It is set in a field with plenty of room for children to play, with a bbq and even a new outdoor pizza oven. We really enjoyed our short getaway, it was just a short distance to the chocolate box villages of the Cotswolds and other tourist attractions. Catriona, the host, made fresh bread everyday and was always on hand to help, whether we wanted to order sausages for breakfast or my daughter wanted to collect eggs from her chickens! We were extremely lucky with the beautiful autumn sunshine when we stayed but there was still a nip in the air, especially at night. This was not an issue at all as the hut was fully equipped with everything you need to stay nice and toasty, including a wood burner, electric blanket to warm the bed up and a radiator. Outside was a fire pit and seating area down the field, so we could sit outside, looking at the stars and toasting marshmallows..... pure bliss and exactly what we wanted!\r\nCatriona is a wonderful host and has done a fantastic job with the hut, she really has thought of everything and all the little touches she put in really added to the cosiness. We also fully recommend getting the breakfast as the farm eggs &amp; sausages are amazing! We could have definitely stayed for longer. \r\nWe were a family of 3, with our 3 year old daughter and we all fitted comfortably in the hut. Our daughter loved everything about the hut and keeps asking when we are going back! She loved the little bunk beds and the sheep toys, as well as all the toys and games provided in the hut. She especially loved running around outside playing with the tractors. Her favourite activity though was playing fetch with the very well behaved dog Evie and picking fresh eggs from the hens. It is beautifully designed and built, and kitted out with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. We stayed for five nights and could have moved in forever. The shepherds hut was well equipped and we had everything we needed to stay comfortably. It is beautifully (hand!)made and decorated with great thought put into each and every aspect of the accommodation. The kitchen was compact but very well equipped and the bathroom was lovely. Outside there is a fire pit to keep warm in the evenings and toast marshmallows over; and in the field with the bell tent there is a swing set and a trampoline for the children to play on, as well as the whole of the field itself, where we played football, cricket, tennis, badminton etc. There are many walks you can do from the farm to explore the countryside if you want to.\r\nCatriona is an amazing and thoughtful host and checked we were happy each day, ensuring we had everything we needed. In addition she invited us all to collect eggs from the chickens and pick tomatoes from the greenhouse, which we all loved, especially the children. My husband and I and our two sons (6yrs and 4yrs) totally fell in love with this beautiful shepherds hut and really didnt want to leave after our 3 night stay. It has everything you could possibly need and all exquisitely designed to such a high quality. The location is breathtaking and really set in its own grounds making it so private and tranquil. Alec and Catriona are incredible hosts and leave you wanting for absolutely nothing. Their love of the area is infectious and they ensure you know all the best places to go. We prebooked daytrips for the kids to Warwick Castle and Cadbury World, which were both fantastic but equally we enjoyed strolling the Malvern Hills or popping into Stratford to the Butterfly Farm - this area is teeming with great things to see and do. The setting is beautiful - so calm, tranquil and private, yet the owner Catriona is just a couple of minutes&#039; walk or an SMS away if anything is needed, and nothing is too much trouble for her. The hut itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, but with discreet mod-cons that you wouldn&#039;t necessarily expect in a shepherd&#039;s hut, such as a small television, USB charging sockets, slow cooker, hairdryer, shaving points in the bathroom, etc etc. None of these things take away from the cosy charm of the hut, they simply enhance it by making it more comfortable. The bathroom was well-equipped, with lovely towels and mini toiletries and the kitchen had everything from a full-sized oven to a spare bottle of wine and G&amp;T (available to purchase at a small cost via a courtesy arrangement - in case guests run out mid-evening!). Evie, the farm dog was lovely company and had impeccable manners. The bed was delightfully comfortable, with quality bedding (very important!), and the whole cottage was meticulously clean. Can\u2019t recommend the shepherd\u2019s hut enough.  Peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings and despite the compact size every little detail is perfect so thoughtfully put together that you\u2019ll find everything you need, even if, like we did, the weather isn\u2019t kind and you end spending a fair bit of time in the hut.  The wood burner is so cosy, and Catriona made sure we had plenty of games and activities to keep the children occupied. They also enjoyed feeding the bull, and collecting eggs (and our breakfast of freshly laid eggs and sausages from the farm went down a storm).  The (huge) enclosed field means that the kids can have some freedom (again with plenty of activities to keep them busy) while the grown ups relax and watch on.  Lots and lots to do nearby: beautiful walks on the doorstep, the kids loved filling their water bottles with spring water and walking in The Malvern hills, Stratford is only a short drive away... we will definitely need to come back as there was so much there to keep us going that we ran out of time.  We\u2019d not been sure about the bunk bed size for my 11 year old, and although he did fit (just) he ended up having \u2018the best nights\u2019 sleep of his life\u2019 apparently (all that  fresh air!) on Catriona\u2019s comfy mattress on the floor. The hut was very well kitted out with everything you could need and so many extra touches, like biscuits, milk, butter and lots of condiments in the cupboard to use as needed. The hut itself was super clean, with a cosy bed, full sized shower, and table to sit inside too as well as lots of outdoor seating. We didn&#039;t realise the hut was situated on a working farm so we were unable to take up Catriona offer of locally produced breakfast as we had bought all our food to make the most of being in the middle of nowhere, but plan on this next time!\r\nThere is also a Bell Tent next to the cottage available for hire, which would be great for our children to come along next time. An absolutely beautiful and well equipped holiday accommodation in such a picturesque and peaceful location. We booked a 2 night break for our wedding anniversary and took our 3 year old along for a relaxing break. The hut met our every need and you can tell such time and effort has gone into setting it up to cater for everyone and every eventuality. The double bed was so comfy and even come equipped with electric blankets, not that we needed them. Above the double bed are the cutest 2 bunk beds for small children. Our son did fall out of his bunk on the 1st night but soon learnt to keep himself in bed. The kitchen is well equipped and even had a full sized oven. There is also a big metal fire pit in the bbq area, and tools to cook over it which we did on our 2nd night. Ample logs provided for the fire pit and wood burner in the hut, not that we needed it due to the gorgeous weather we had on our break. Catriona, the host, makes sure you are well looked after, providing initial provisions of tea, coffee, milk and cereals. We also took her up on her offer to provide breakfast package as well which includes eggs collected from the free range hens on the farm and locally produced sausages. We were allowed the privilege of being able to spend some time with Evie the farm sheep dog, whose energy was only surpassed by our sons. Catriona also helped my son collect eggs from the hens on his tour round the farm. I highly recommend this shepherd&#039;s hut to anyone. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway then this is the place for you. We spent lovely evenings Sat outside by the fire, with a glass or two, listening to the local wildlife and watching the sunset. Fantastic environment for the family. If you can drag the children away there is plenty to explore locally. You then have the bonus of returning to this lovely private space with far reaching views. The children loved borrowing the farm dog for the morning and collecting the eggs for breakfast. Sausages from the farm were very nice. It was so nice to have the facilities to cook in the shepherds hut, and have bathroom facilities within the hut. Hut was always cosy and nice and warm, and there was plenty of wood provided for the wood burner. \r\n\r\nCatriona and Alec were great hosts, always happy to help and replenish anything we had ran out of. \r\nAs part of the New Years package, Catriona made us a lovely home made meal, it was delicious. We were also provided with a bottle of champagne and lifts to and from a local pub of our choice.\r\n\r\nHut was in a great location; nice and peaceful and close enough to visit nearby places of interest such as Ledbury, Evesham, the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds.\r\n\r\nWe would definitely like to return for another stay. We stayed for 3 nights, but it is somewhere we could stay for a week. Three cosy nights, with the log burner inside and the fire pit outside! Catriona and alec have made a beautifully unique and well thought out holiday home. Everything was a joy. We travelled round the local area but enjoyed most just chilling out at the hut. Enjoying moonlit evenings and sunset walks. It&#039;s stunning inside and out and no detail has been overlooked. We looked at several huts like this and this was by far the best. The location is amazing, set on a working farm and surrounded by fields. Alec and Catriona are the perfect hosts, very welcoming and made our stay that bit better. They treated us to some local meats and homemade soup! They even lent us their adorable collie Evie to walk around the farm. The local area is beautiful, we wandered to a couple of pubs nearby and took a ride out to The Chase Inn with a incredible view from the rear garden. It was perfect in every way for the peaceful retreat we were looking for .
